Gasa Tshanchu - The healing Hot Spring
A major attraction for Gasa visitors is this hot spring. This hot spring contains three bath houses with different temperatures, so that visitors can choose bathing pool which is suitable for them. There is also an outdoor pool close to the facilities that are frequently used by both domestic and wild animals such as Takins.
Gasa Dzong
Locally known as the Tashi Thongmon Dzong, the fortress served as a defending barrack in the 17th century. The fortress is unique with a circular shape and three watch towers that are placed at strategic points. The beauty of the dzong is heightened during clear days with a view of Mt. Gangboom. A visit during the annual autumn festival will be worthy for you.
Laya Village
To satisfy your adventure spirit, take a three nights trek to Laya.
